Saulo Philipe Sebastião Guerra

Forest engineer (2000), Master (2003) and Doctor (2006) of Agronomy from the College of Agricultural Sciences at São Paulo State University (FCA/UNESP). Former director of the Foundation for Agricultural and Forestry Research (FEPAF) and former coordinator of the undergraduate course in forest engineering at FCA/UNESP. Professor in the Department of Rural Engineering and Socioeconomics at FCA/UNESP, coordinator of the Agroforestry Biomass and Bioenergy Laboratory (LABB/IPBEN) and scientific head of the Cooperative Program on Forest Mechanization and Automation at the Forestry Research Institute (PCMAF/IPEF). Deputy Coordinator of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) - Division 3: Forest Operations, Engineering and Management. Currently director of the UNESP Innovation Agency (AUIN/UNESP).

O docente possui graduação em Engenharia Florestal pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000), mestrado em Agronomia (Energia na Agricultura) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003) e doutorado em Agronomia (Energia na Agricultura) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2006). Realizou Pós-Doutoramento na The Univesity of Arizona - Maricopa Agricultural Center (2010). Atualmente, é Professor Assistente Doutor da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, na Faculdade de Ciências Agronômicas (FCA), Departamento de Engenharia Rural e Socioeconomia, Coordenador do Grupo de Pesquisa LABB - Laboratório Agroflorestal de Biomassa e Bioenergia (FCA/UNESP), associado ao Instituto de Pesquisa em Bioenergia (IPBEN). Diretor da Fundação de Estudos e Pesquisas Agrícolas e Florestais (FEPAF) na gestão 2010-2012. Coordenador do Curso de Graduação em Engenharia Florestal (FCA/UNESP) na gestão 2012-2018. Assumiu em 2016 a Liderança Científica do Programa Cooperativo sobre Mecanização e Automação Florestal - PCMAF, do Instituto de Pesquisas e Estudos Florestais (IPEF). Atual Coordenador Adjunto da International Union of Forest Research Organization (IUFRO) - Divisão 3: Forest Operations, Engineering and Management. Atual Diretor da Agência UNESP de Inovação - AUIN.
