Maryam Soltani Asl
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences from the University of Tabriz in 2014. Due to her interest in the structure and metabolic pathways of cells, she continued her master's degree in biochemistry, during which time she focused more on studying metabolic disorders, especially thyroid disease and diabetes and she defended her master's in 2018. She has experience teaching and working in clinical laboratories and human samples. Because of her background studies and interest in metabolic pathways and their role in cancer, she started her Ph.D. at the University of Sao Paulo in 2020 with the aim of studying the immunological aspects and biochemical pathways involved in cancer.
