Possui graduação em Biologia (licenciatura e bacharelado) pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2000), Mestrado (2003) e Doutorado (2008) em Farmacologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo - UNIFESP. Realizou Doutorado Sanduiche (2006-2007) no Departamento de Farmacologia e Terapêutica da Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, na Espanha. Realizou o Pós-Doutorado (2008-2013) no Departamento de Farmacologia da UNIFESP, onde participou da orientação de teses de mestrado e doutorado na área de Farmacologia Cardiovascular e Autonômica.
No ensino possui experiência na docência de cursos de graduação e pós-graduação lato-senso (especialização) na área da saúde. Atualmente é professora de diversos cursos de graduação nas Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), onde leciona as disciplinas de Terapêutica Medicamentosa, Processos Biológicos, Interação Clinico Patológica e Agressão e Defesa Tecidual. Nesta instituição orienta alunos de iniciação científica, TCC e monitoria acadêmica.
Além disso, foi líder da área de Fundamentação Biológica onde organizava treinamentos para docentes, além de acompanhar o desenvolvimento do projeto pedagógico da instituição.
Também adquiriu experiência como coordenadora do curso de pós-graduação lato-senso (especialização) em Farmacologia Clínica (2013-2016) nesta mesma instituição.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2000), MSc (2003) and PhD (2008) in Pharmacology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He holds a PhD abroad (2006 - 2007) in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in Spain, where he developed projects in the area of neurotransmission. He completed a period of post-PhD in the Department of Pharmacology at UNIFESP where he participated in several projects in the area of cardiovascular and autonomic pharmacology, as well as participating in the orientation of master's and doctoral theses of post-graduate students in Pharmacology and Experimental Surgery.
In scientific research she has experience in Cardiovascular and Autonomic Pharmacology, working mainly in the following subjects: molecular pharmacology, homeostasis and cell signaling, autonomic and central neurotransmission, intestinal and cardiac ischemia and reperfusion, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
In teaching, she has more than 15 years of experience teaching undergraduate and post-graduate courses in health. She currently teaches courses in Pharmacy, Nursing and Dentistry at the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), where she teaches the disciplines of Pharmacology (general and applied), Structure and Function (physiology - general and systems), and Immunology. In this institution she guides students of scientific initiation and academic monitoring. In the postgraduate course she works as a lecturer in the disciplines of Clinical Pharmacology in the post-graduation courses (specialization) in nursing. She gained experience as coordinator of the postgraduate course (specialization) in Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) (2013-2016). She recently started a position as Leader in Academic Quality at Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) where she organizes and teaches teacher trainings, as well as accompanying the development of the institution's pedagogical project.
