Wolf Uwe Reimold está Diploma Mineralogist e PhD Mineralogy da Westfaelische Wilhelms University Muenster (Alemanha). Ele está especialista em multidisciplinarias Impact Cratering Studies. Autor ou co-autor de mais do que 360 artigos cientificos e mais do que 12 livros. E orientador de 15 discentes de douturado e 14 de mestrado em geociencia. Possui mestrado em Mineralogy - University of Münster (1977) e doutorado em Mineralogy - University of Münster (1980). Varias posições doctorais e professorais nas universidades de Muenster e Witwatersrand. Professor titular e Diretor de Evolução e Geociências no Museum fuer Naturkunde Berlin e Humboldt Universitaet Berlin. Atualmente (desde abril de 2018) professor titular-livre no Instituto de Geociência, Universidade de Brasília. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, especialmente com processos de impacto meteoritico.

Master's degree in Mineralogy from University of Münster (1977) and PhD in Mineralogy from University of Münster (1980). Followed by doctoal and professorial appointments at the University of Muenster, University of the Witwatersrand. Full professor and Head of Evolution and Geoscience at Museum fuer Naturkunde Berlin and Humboldt University Berlin. Currently (since April 2018) Professor-Tituçar-livre in the Institute of Geoscience of the University of Brasilia. Has experience in Geosciences, focussing on impact cratering studies.
