Adriana Vieira Martins

I have a degree in Dentistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1997), a Master's in Dentistry (Concentration Area: Dentistry) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2013) and a Doctorate in Dentistry (Concentration Area: Dental Clinic) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2016). He scholarships CAPES throughout the Masters. He specializes in Dentistry (ABO-BH), Dental Prosthodontics (FO-UFMG) and Implantology (ABO-SL). In teaching, I did a teaching internship in the disciplines of Dentistry and Prosthodontics at FO-UFMG, as well as a voluntary teaching internship in the Dental Trauma Extension Program. I worked in the area of ​​research related to the physicochemical, mechanical and biological properties of restorative materials at the Center for the Development of Nuclear Technology - CDTN from 2012 to 2016. I guide undergraduate students in seminars in the Discipline of Dental Materials I and II of FO-UFMG. I am currently a Substitute Professor at FO-UFMG (Dental Materials), Regular Professor of Specialization in Dentistry at the Specialization Center of the Faculty of Itaúna-MG, Visiting Professor in Specialization courses in different areas of Dentistry and Scientific Director of the ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE ODONTOLOGIA - REGIONAL SETE LAGOAS (ABO-SL). In research, I have experience in the field of DENTISTICS, PROSTHESIS, IMPLANTS and DENTAL MATERIALS working mainly on the following topics: oral rehabilitation, implant prosthesis, occlusion, dental trauma, fiber posts, epoxy resins and minimally invasive laminates.

Possuo graduação em Odontologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1997), Mestrado em Odontologia (Área de Concentração: Dentística) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2013) e Doutorado em Odontologia (Área de Concentração: Clínica Odontológica) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2016). Bolsita CAPES ao longo do Mestrado. Sou Especialista em Dentística (ABO-BH), Prótese Dental (FO-UFMG) e Implantodontia (ABO-SL). No ensino, realizei estágio docente nas disciplinas de Dentística e Prótese da FO-UFMG, além de estágio docente voluntário no Programa de Extensão Traumatismo Dental. Trabalhei na área de pesquisa relacionada com propriedades físico-químicas, mecânicas e biológicas dos materiais restauradores junto ao Centro de Desenvolvimento da Tecnologia Nuclear - CDTN no período de 2012 à 2016. Orientei alunos de graduação em seminários na Disciplina de Materiais Dentários I e II da FO-UFMG. Atuei como Professora Substituta da FO-UFMG de 2012 (Materiais Dentários, Dentística, Fundamentos de Odontologia Restauradora e Prática Laboratorial de Restauração Metálica Fundida) até 2021, sou Professora Adjunta do curso de Odontologia da Faculdade UNA - Sete Lagoas, Professora Regular do curso de Especialização em Dentística do Núcleo de Especialização da Universidade de Itaúna-MG, Professora convidada em cursos de Especialização em distintas áreas da Odontologia. Na pesquisa, possuo experiência na área de DENTÍSTICA, PRÓTESE, IMPLANTE e MATERIAIS DENTÁRIOS atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: reabilitação oral, prótese sobre implante, oclusão, traumatismo dental, pinos em fibra, resinas epóxi e laminados minimamente invasivos.
