Adeniyi Abiodun Adebayo is a Lecturer and Researcher in Functional Foods, Nutraceutical and Phytomedicine, Department of Biochemistry, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji Arakeji, Nigeria. My area of research is Food and Nutritional Biochemistry. My academic training and research experience in the area of Applied Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Behavior, and Neurobiology have provided me with an excellent background in pursuing my research career. During my undergraduate and graduate careers, I have worked extensively on the influence of some functional foods on key biochemical pathways associated with the pathogenesis of some degenerative diseases such as Type-2 diabetes and Hypertension as well as Erectile dysfunction. I hold a Ph.D degree in Applied Biochemistry, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in 2021. I have published over 25 research articles in refereed journals both locally and internationally.
