He holds a Post-Doctorate at the Research Center for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs) at the University of Algarve (UAlg). PhD in Agricultural Sciences (2011), Master's in Forest Sciences (2006), Graduation in Forest Engineering (2003) from the Federal Rural University of the Amazon. He is a specialist in Education, Diversity and Social Inclusion from Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (2022). He is Associate Professor II at the Federal University of Oeste do Pará, where he works as a professor in the Bachelor's Degrees in Agronomy, Forestry Engineering and Agricultural Sciences. He is currently a permanent professor of the Master in Society, Environment, Quality of Life (PPGSAQ / Ufopa) and the Doctorate in Society, Nature and Development (PPGSND / Ufopa). He held the position of Pro-Rector of Culture, Community and Extension, from April 2014 to April 2018.

Atualmente é professor permanente do Mestrado em Sociedade, Ambiente Qualidade de Vida (PPGSAQ/Ufopa) e do Doutorado em Sociedade, Natureza e Desenvolvimento (PPGSND/Ufopa). Exerceu o cargo de Pró-Reitor da Cultura, Comunidade e Extensão, no período de abril de 2014 a abril de 2018. Atualmente é Diretor do Instituto de Biodiversidades e Florestas (IBEF/UFOPA).
