Sérgio Antonio Schiefferdecker

Graduated in Dentistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1977), specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1978) and a master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology from the Lutheran University of Brazil (2007) . He did an internship (fellow) at the Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery Service of Dr. Maxime Champy, at the Civil Hospital of Strassbourg, in Strassbourg, France, in 1998. He did a postgraduate course in Hospital Administration at the IAHCS. He holds an MBA in Health from the IAHCS. Qualified by the CFO in "Hospital Dentistry". He is currently a maxillofacial surgeon collaborating with MAXIFACE-Service of Oral Maxillofacial & Dental Diagnosis & Treatment at Hospital Ernesto Dornelles and Coordinator of the specialty of Maxillofacial Surgery at this same hospital. Dental surgeon at the Porto Alegre City Hall as a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Traumatologist for the Municipal Hospital of Pronto Socorro de Porto Alegre (since 1986), performing several technical and administrative positions in retirement 2020. Professor at the Dental Institute of Graduate Studies - FAMED, professor at the Brazilian Dentistry Association - Rio Grande do Sul Section / ABO-RS. Former Consultant of the Industry and Commerce of Orthopedic Implants - MDT - Grupo Víncula. Accredited oral and maxillofacial dental surgeon at Hospital Ernesto Dornelles, Hospital Mãe de Deus, Hospital Moinhos de Vento, Hospital São Vicente de Paulo, Hospital São Sebastião, Hospital Saúde, Hospital Medianeira, Instituto de Cardiologia. Among several associations, he is an associate member of the Brazilian College of Buco-Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology with prominence since 1978, holding several positions. Has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, acting mainly on the following subjects: maxillofacial trauma, hospital emergency room, epidemiological study, face trauma and complex face fractures, face deformities, management and administration in health and emergency. In health management, specifically, he presents himself with specialized training, where he served in the management group of Hospital de Pronto Socorro in 2005, promoting the creation of the General Emergency Coordination of the Municipality of Porto Alegre, being its first Coordinator, until 2009, when he began to exercise the position of General Coordinator of ASSEPLA - Planning Department of the Municipal Health Department until 2010. At Hospital Ernesto Dornelles he is a collaborator in the coordination of the specialty of Buccomaxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology. In 2020 he was the coordinator of the Center for Research and Assistance Development at Hospital Ernesto Dornelles. He has always been participating in institutions aimed at the development of citizenship and social activities, joining the Scout Movement at the age of 6, participating, as well as his whole family, in various national and international activities, such as the World Jamboree in Japan in 1971 and occupying , various positions, earning the insignia of "Scout of the Fatherland" as a young teenager and being decorated with medals of "Gratitude" and "Good Services" for the movement, belonging to him until today. As a Rotarian belonging to the Rotary Club Porto Alegre Nordeste where he was president in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 terms, nominated 2021-22, also collaborating in the Fellowship Groups Committee, and Health Sub Committee of the RI District 4670 governor. Belonging to the founding group of the Instituto Pro Scout Lino Schiefferderdecker , it is its current president. From the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul, he received a Medal of Merit (2013).

Atualmente é cirurgião bucomaxilofacial colaborador da MAXIFACE - Serviço de Diagnóstico & Tratamento Bucomaxilofacial & Odontohospitalar no Hospital Ernesto Dornelles e Coordenador da especialidade de Cirurgia Bucomaxilofacial neste mesmo hospital. Cirurgião dentista concursado-1986 da Prefeitura Municipal de Porto Alegre como especialista Cirurgião e Traumatologista Bucomaxilofacial para o Hospital Municipal de Pronto Socorro de Porto Alegre, exercendo diversos cargos técnicos e Administrativos, aposentado 2021. Professor do Instituto Odontológico de Pós Graduação - FAMED, professor da Associação Brasileira de Odontologia Secção Rio Grande do Sul/ ABO-RS. Ex-Consultor da Indústria e Comércio de Implantes Ortopédicos - MDT - Grupo Víncula. Cirurgião dentista bucomaxilofacial credenciado do Hospital Ernesto Dornelles, do Hospital Mãe de Deus, do Hospital Moinhos de Vento, do Hospital São Vicente de Paulo, do Hospital São Sebastião, do Hospital Saúde, do Hospital Medianeira, Instituto de Cardiologia. Dentre diversas associações é membro associado do Colégio Brasileiro de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Facial com destaque desde 1978, ocupando diversos cargos, sendo membro da Comissão de Ética & Compliance Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em Cirurgia Buco-Maxilo-Facial, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: trauma bucomaxilofacial, face e fraturas complexas de face, emergências, deformidades da face, gestão e administração em saúde e emergência - hospital pronto socorro, Na gestão de saúde, especificamente, apresenta-se com formação especializada, onde atuou no grupo diretivo do Hospital de Pronto Socorro em 2005, vindo a promover a criação da Coordenadoria Geral de Emergências do Município de Porto Alegre, sendo o seu primeiro Coordenador, até 2009, quando passou a exercer o cargo de Coordenador Geral da ASSEPLA - Assessoria de Planejamento da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde até o ano de 2010. No Hospital Ernesto Dornelles é colaborador na coordenação da especialidade de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofacial. Em 2020 foi coordenador do Centro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Assistencial do Hospital Ernesto Dornelles. Atual Coordenador da Unidade de Patologias e Tumores CervicoOroFaciais. Participa de instituições que visam o desenvolvimento da cidadania e as atividades sociais, entrando no Movimento Escoteiro aos 6 anos, participando, assim como toda a sua família, de diversas atividades nacionais e internacionais, como o Jamboree Mundial no Japão em 1971 e ocupando, vários cargos, conquistando a insígnia de Escoteiro da Pátria quando jovem adolescente e sendo condecorado com medalhas de Gratidão e Bons Serviços pelo movimento, pertencendo a ele até os dias de hoje. Como Rotariano pertencente ao Rotary Clube Porto Alegre Nordeste - Distrito4670, onde foi presidente nas gestões de 2015-16, 2016-17, e 2021-22, colaborador na Comissão de Grupos de Companheirismo, Comissão de Serviços a Comunidade - sub com Saúde e Comissão Planejamento Estratégico gestão 2022-23. Pertencente ao grupo fundador do Instituto Pró Scout Lino Schiefferderdecker , presidente atual. Da Assembléia Legislativa do Rio Grande do Sul, recebeu Medalha de Mérito (2013).
