Ricardo Luiz da Silva Adriano

Possui Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2007). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Electromagnetismo aplicado, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: eletromagnetismo computacional, compatibilidade eletromagnética e otimização multiobjetivo.
Ricardo Adriano was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He received his undergraduate education and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. In 2007 he joined the INRETS - LEOST (The French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport) as a postdoctoral researcher associate with the RAILCOM project (Electromagnetic Compatibility between Rolling Stock and Rail-infrastructure encouraging European Interoperability). In 2008 he returned to Brazil to became an assistant professor at Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei. Afterwards, in 2011, he became assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Prof. Adriano has been directly involved with UFMG's undergraduate courses on Systems Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, and with the Graduate Course on Electrical Engineering. His current research involves Computational Electromagnetics; Electromagnetic Compatibility and Optimization of electromagnetic devices.
