Gustavo Cunha Guedes

Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2007) and Master in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2011). Held a supervised exchange PhD program for 12 months in the Optical Networks Laboratory (OnLab) of the Royal Institute of Technology - KTH, Stockholm, Sweden. Participated as a volunteer at the XVIII International Congress on Optical Network Design and Modeling - ONDM 2014 (KTH, Sweden). Since April 2016, he has been a teacher in Informatics at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, where he teaches in the Control and Automation Engineering Course (Chapecó), Systems Analysis and Development (Gaspar) and in the Technical Course in Informatics Integrated to High School (Chapecó and Gaspar). In addition to telecommunications, he also works on the areas of 3D Printing, Mobile Applications, Artificial Intelligence, among others.

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Computação pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2007) e mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2011). Realizou doutorado sanduíche no Laboratório de Redes Ópticas - OnLab, no Royal Institute of Technology - KTH (Suécia). Participou como voluntário do Décimo Oitavo Congresso Internacional de Projeto e Modelagem de Redes Ópticas - ONDM 2014 (KTH, Suécia). É docente, desde abril de 2016, em Informática, no Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina, onde lecionou e/ou leciona nos Cursos de Engenharia de Controle e Automação (Campus Chapecó), Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas (Gaspar) e no Curso Técnico em Informática Integrado ao Ensino Médio (Chapecó e Gaspar). Além da área de telecomunicações, atua também nas áreas de Impressão 3D, Aplicativos Móveis, Inteligência Artificial, dentre outras.
