Professor at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG | Brazil) Campus Arcos. He teaches in the Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and in the Postgraduate Course in Teaching. He was head of the Mechanical Engineering department and local representative of the IFMG's International Relations Advisory (ARINTER) from 2018 to 2019. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of São João del-Rei with exchanges at the University of Girona (Spain | one academic year) and at the Hague University (The Netherlands | a semester). Master in Mechanical Engineering in the research line: Characterization and Mechanical Property of Materials at the Federal University of São João del-Rei. PhD student in the Doctoral Program in Education in the line of research: Mathematical Education at the University of Girona.
Professor efetivo no Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais (IFMG) Campus Arcos, onde regularmente leciona na graduação em Engenharia Mecânica e na Pós-graduação em Docência (EaD) e em cursos de Formação Inicial e Continuada (FIC). Nessa instituição já foi Representante Local da Assessoria de Relações Internacionais (ARINTER), Presidente do Comitê de Educação a Distancia (CEAD) e Chefe do Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica. Foi professor visitante do departamento de metalurgia do Cégep de Trois-Rivières (Canadá). Graduado em Engenharia Mecânica na Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei (UFSJ) com intercâmbio sanduíche nas universidades: Universitat de Girona (UdG - Espanha) e The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Países Baixos). Atualmente é doutorando em Educação Matemática pela UdG e investiga a formação docente no modelo Realista-refleixo e a Educação STEAM (interdisciplinaridade entre Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia, Artes (e Humanidades) e Matemáticas.
