Vitale Joanoni Neto

Vitale Joanoni Neto - Full Professor of the Department of History of the Federal University of Mato Grosso. Doctor in History by UNESP de Assis with Post-Doctorate by the School of Geosciences at the University of Edinburgh. He develops activities of teaching, research and extension in the Post-Graduation (Mestrado e Doutorado) of the History course. Between 2019 and 2021 he was a member of the International Agrocultures Research Network. Since 2022 he works together with the Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa, Pós-Graduação and Inovação of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, PROPES / IFMT in Technical Cooperation. He researches issues related to Brazil, Mato Grosso, the Brazilian Southern Amazon in the second half of the 20th century, with a privileged focus on the frontier, the Brazilian Government and Work. Member of the Nucleo de Pesquisa em História, leader of the Historical Research Group, Terra e Trabalho (UFMT) and of the History Mato Grosso Amazônia Research Group (IFMT).

Desenvolve atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão na Pós-Graduação (Mestrado e Doutorado) do curso de História. Entre 2019 e 2021 foi membro da Rede Internacional de Pesquisa Agrocultures. desde 2022 trabalha junto à Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa, Pós-Graduação e Inovação do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, PROPES/IFMT em Cooperação Técnica. Pesquisa temas relacionados ao Brasil, Mato Grosso, Amazônia meridional brasileira na segunda metade do século XX, com foco privilegiado em fronteira, Ditadura Brasileira e Trabalho. Membro do Núcleo de Pesquisa em História, líder do Grupo de Pesquisa História, Terra e Trabalho (UFMT) e do Grupo de Pesquisa História Mato Grosso Amazônia (IFMT).
