Luiz Eduardo Seabra Varella

Luiz E. S. Varella is a consultant-senior systems analyst at Exploration Department of Petrobras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2007 received his Ph.D. degree in Computational Systems from COPPE-UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro. He is involved with the development of geoscientific computational systems applied to Oil & Gas Industry. Luiz Varella is interested in computer graphics, data structures, high performance computing, geostatistics, uncertainty analysis, risk management, and has been working on reservoir geostatistic modeling with multiples seismic and geological attributes.
