Heverton Souza Lima

Heverton Lima is producer at Paideia Filmes. His recent work includes the outreach production of The Edge of Democracy (102?, 2019) by Petra Costa, and the executive production of the documentary films Platamama (72', 2018), Elections (102', 2018) and My Body is Political (71'/52', 2017) by Alice Riff. The latter was awarded Best Brazilian Feature Film at Curitiba International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize at Lovers Film Festival ? Torino LGBTQI Visions. It was also screened at important film festivals such as Visons du Réel, Bafici and Havana Festival. His work also includes the fictional film Guigo Offline (52', Telefilm, 2017), awarded Best Film at Mix Brazil 2017 and Best Brazilian Feature Film at Rio Gender & Sexuality Film Festival, as well as the awarded short film Marina?s Ocean (17', 2014), screened in more than 60 national and international film festivals, with TV licensing in Japan, USA, Argentina and Switzerland. Heverton is currently promoting the film Elections (102', 2018), directed by Alice Riff. Its world premiere was at Dok Leipzig (International Programme) and its national premiere was at Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival. Heverton has a master?s degree in Film and TV Production from the University of Sao Paulo, as well as degrees in Cinema and Economics.

Possui graduação em Ciências Econômicas pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2004), graduação em Cinema e Audiovisual pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2011) e mestrado em Pós-graduação em Meios e Processos Audiovisuais pela Universidade de São Paulo (2015). Atualmente é professor assistente da Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, produtor executivo - Paideia Filmes e produtor executivo - Studio Riff. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Administração e Produção de Filmes, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cinema, televisão, audiovisual, ficção e regulação.
