Daniele de Sousa Machado

Doutoranda em História da Arte (PPGHA-UERJ), com pesquisa intitulada "Fragmentos contemporâneos da modernidade", sob orientação da Profª. Drª. Vera Beatriz Siqueira. Mestra em Estudos Contemporâneos das Artes (PPGCA-UFF) com a dissertação "Ensaio sobre construção e destruição: Torres-Garcia e o incêndio do MAM-RJ", sob orientação da Profª. Draª. Tania Rivera. Graduada em História da Arte (EBA-UFRJ). É pesquisadora do Programa Connecting Art Histories da Getty Foundation e coordenadora editorial da Barléu Edições. Realiza o projeto "Arte Saúde Práticas" em parceria com a artista e educadora Elisa Castro. Fundou e dirigiu a Desvio - Galeria e Revista de arte, memória e patrimônio de estudantes de artes do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Foi Curadora do Centro Municipal de Arte Hélio Oiticica. Coordenou o grupo de pesquisa "De Sobre Feitas por Mulheres". Curou as exposições "Artes Aquáticas" (2019), "Junho de 2013: cinco anos depois" (2018), "Atelier Gaia" (2017), entre outras. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em História da Arte, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: memória, trauma, arte e saúde, arte brasileira e latino-americana.
