Ruth Sofia Contreras Espinosa

Ruth S. Contreras Espinosa has a PhD by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia - Barcelona Tech (2008). She is a professor and researcher at the University of Vic and coordinates the Digital Interactions Research group. Ruth has also been a professor at the Higher Degree in Design (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), University Center for the Arts, Architecture, and Design (University of Guadalajara) and the Faculty of Design (University of Azuay). She has also been a guest researcher at the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, Polytechnic of Torino (Italy), CODE center of King Mongkut s University of Technology Thonburi (Thailand), University of Campinas and the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (Brazil). Her research interests focus on Game Based Learning, Games Studies, Technology enhanced Learning, New Media and Digital Communication.
