Atualmente é o Coordenador do Curso de Ecocardiografia Transesofágico Intraoperatória da Sociedade Brasileira de Anestesiologia (ETTI/SBA) e Coordenador da Pósgraduação em Anestesia para Procedimentos de Alta Complexidade do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Editor Associado do Brazilian Journal of Anesthesiology (BJAN/SBA). Membro do Grupo Takaoka Anestesia. Portador do Título Superior de Anestesiologia (TSA/SBA) e do Título de Especialista em Anestesiologia (TEA/SBA). Realizou estágio em Anestesia Cardiovascular e Ecocardiografia Transesofágica Intraoperatória em Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF). Post-Doc em andamento na Faculdade de Medicina da USP. PhD em Ciências Cirúrgicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Mestre em Saúde Brasileira pela Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Pós graduado "Latu Sensu" em Anestesiologia Pediátrica pelo Instituto Fernandes Figueiras (FIOCRUZ).

Dr. Marcello Fonseca Salgado Filho is Coordinator of the Intraoperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Board of the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (ETTI / SBA) and the Intraoperative Trasnesophageal Echocardiography Program of the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology / EACTA. Member of the task-force of Cardiovascular Imaging Department of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (DIC / SBC) and Brazilian Society of Anesthesiologists (SBA), member of the Superior Title Committee of Anesthesiology of the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology (TSA / SBA) and the Editorial Board of the Brazilian Journal of Anesthesiology. Coordinator of the Medical Residency in Anesthesiology (MEC) of the Holy House of Mercy of Juiz de Fora and Anesthesiologist of the University Hospital of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (HU / UFJF). Adjunct Professor of Anesthesia at Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and Adjunct Professor of Anesthesia and Physiology at Presidente Antônio Carlos University (UNIPAC / JF). Performed an internship in Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Intraoperative Transesophageal Echocardiography at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF). PhD in Surgical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Master in Brazilian Health from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).
