Marcelo Gonzalez Brasil Fagundes

Doctor in History from the Graduate Program in History of the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC in the line of research of Indigenous History, Ethnohistory and Archeology (2022), holds a degree in History from the University of the State of Santa Catarina -UDESC (2001) and graduation in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC (2005). Master in Cultural History from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008) and Master in History of the Hispanic World from the Universitat Jaume I Spain (2009). He worked at the National Indian Foundation-FUNAI working with the Apinajé indigenous people in Tocantins. He is currently a professor of History at the Federal University of Tocantins-UFT. He developed works addressing the following topics: foreign travelers in Brazil, Latin American politics and literature, Cultural History and Indigenous History.

Trabalhou na Fundação Nacional do Índio - FUNAI atuando junto ao povo indígena Apinajé no Tocantins. Atualmente é professor do curso de História na Universidade Federal do Tocantins - UFT. Desenvolveu trabalhos abordando os seguintes temas: viajantes estrangeiros no Brasil, política e literatura latino-americana, História Cultural e História indígena.
