Herbert de Oliveira Ramos

Especialista em desenvolvimento de sistemas elétricos de potência na Fundação para Inovações tecnológicas - FITEC - Belo Horizonte/MG, atua em Projetos de P&D voltados para o gerenciamento de recursos energéticos distribuídos, armazenamento de grandes blocos de energia, microrredes e controle de redes de distribuição. Graduou-se em engenharia elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI-Itabira) em 2016, onde trabalhou no Laboratório de Geração de Energia Elétrica e no Grupo de Pesquisas em Controle e Conversão de Energia desde sua criação em 2014. Obteve o título de Mestre em Engenharia elétrica na área de Eletrônica de Potência no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - PPGEE/UFMG (2019) enquanto atuava como Professor Substituto na UNIFEI(2018-2019). Obteve o título de Especialista em Inteligência Artificial na Escola Politécnica de Pernambuco da Universidade de Pernambuco (2021) e atualmente é doutorando em Engenharia Elétrica no campo de Compatibilidade Eletromagnética e Qualidade de Energia no PPGEE/UFMG.

Specialist in the development of electrical power systems at the Foundation for Technological Innovation - FITEC - Belo Horizonte / MG, he works in R&D Projects aimed at managing distributed energy resources, storage of energy, microgrids and control of distribution networks. Graduated in Electrical Engineering in the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI-Itabira) at 2016, where he worked at the Electric Power Generation Laboratory and the Energy Conversion and Control Research Group since its creation in 2014. He contributed mainly to the construction of a simulator of a turbine operating an open-end winding generator, where his master's research was subsequently initiated in a partnership project between UNIFEI and UFMG. He obtained the title of Master in Electrical Engineering in the field of Power Electronics in the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - PPGEE / UFMG (2019) while acting as Substitute Professor at UNIFEI (2018-2019).
