Paulo Boschcov (PB) completed the course of Biological Sciences, medical modality (1973; UNIFESP, EPM), and obtained his MSc. (1976) and Ph.D. (1981) degrees in Molecular Biology at the same institution (Dep. of Biophysics). -||- At UNIFESP (1975-1998), PB taught Biophysics classes to medical and nursing students and worked on the chemical synthesis and chromatographic purification of peptides; in this period, he collaborated on various projects related to the biochemistry of biologically-active peptides and enzymes of the renin-angiotensin system. -||- His postdoctoral studies were conducted at Universidade de São Paulo, USP (Inst. de Medicina Tropical, IMT, Sorologia, 1999-2000; and Inst. de Ciências Biomédicas, ICB4, Dep. of Immunology, 2001-2003). There, he collaborated on projects in the field of Immunology, and taught graduate students the principles of analytical and preparative HPLC of peptides. -||- In 2019, PB was included as a professor of Medical Physics in the faculty of Centro Universitário de Adamantina (UniFAI), SP, where he taught classes until 2023.
