Leandro Vieira da Silva

Graduado em Geografia (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (2003), graduado em Biblioteconomia (com ênfase em Gestão de Coleções) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2004), especialista em Solos e Meio Ambiente pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (2009), especialista em Turismo e Meio Ambiente (2023) pela Universidade de Araraquara, mestre em Antropologia com área de concentração em Arqueologia pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2013) e doutor em Arqueologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2019). Atualmente, é pós-graduando em Planejamento Urbano pela Universidade Vale do Rio Verde de Três Corações, desenvolvendo pesquisa sobre arqueologia urbana. Integra os grupos de pesquisa: História da alimentação, coordenado pelo prof. Dr. José Newton Coelho Meneses (UFMG) e História Regional da Bahia, coordenado pelo prof. Dr. Wellington Castellucci Júnior (UNEB). Servidor efetivo da Secretaria de Meio Ambiente do Estado de Minas Gerais, é Analista Ambiental do Instituto Estadual de Florestas (IEF-MG) e trabalha na criação de àreas protegidas, na análise de planos de manejo e na gestão do patrimônio arqueológico, com atividades referentes à educação patrimonial, ao turismo arqueológico, na emissão de autorizações para pesquisas científicas, na conservação de sítios arqueológicos contra intempéries e no apoio técnico aos museus dos parques. É editor associado da Revista MG.Biota. Tem experiência profissional e interesses acadêmicos nos seguintes temas: Populações Paleoamericanas, Geoarqueologia, Arqueoturismo, Arqueologia Urbana, Arqueologia do Brasil Colonial e Cerâmicas Históricas.

He is currently a postgraduate student in Tourism and Environment at the Universidade de Araraquara, developing research on archaeological tourism. He integrate the research groups: Material Elements of Culture and Heritage, coordinated by prof. Dr. José Newton Coelho Meneses (UFMG) and Bahia Regional History, coordinated by prof. Dr. Wellington Castellucci Júnior (UNEB) and is adjunct editor of Revista Científica MG.Biota. Environmental Analyst at the Instituto Estadual de Florestas (IEF-MG), works in the creation of ecologically protected areas, in the analysis of management plans and in the management of the archaeological heritage lwith a focus on heritage education, archaeotourism, the issuance of authorizations for research, technical support to park museums and conservation of archaeological sites. .
