Mynor Efrain Garcia Munguia

Doutorando em Agronomia/Fitopatologia pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) na área de Virologia Vegetal. Anteriormente, pesquisador em Agricultura e Desenvolvimento Rural do Instituto de Pesquisa e Projeção em Ambienta Natural e Sociedade (IARNA, sigla em espanhol) da Universidade Rafael Landivar -URL- (Guatemala) e Professor do Departamento de Ciências Ambientais e Agrícolas da (FCAA, siglas em espanhol) principal na disciplina de Metodologias da Pesquisa e Adjunto em cursos de Manejo de Pragas e Doenças. Atua em atividade de pesquisa na área de Controle de Pragas e Doenças, Revitalização dos Agroecossistemas, Processos de Adaptação da Agricultura as Mudanças Climáticas (Desenvolvimento rural e agricultura). E Coordenador do Projeto "Construindo Redes de Pesquisa-Ação na Adaptação as Mudanças Climáticas para o Desenvolvimento Rural na Guatemala". Pesquisa principalmente os seguintes temas: levantamento, identificação, caracterização, controle de fungos fitopatogênicos; a relação ambiente natural e sociedade, revitalização dos territórios a partir de sistemas de produção sustentáveis. Tem participado na elaboração de publicações na Guatemala como. Perfil Ambiental da Guatemala (Capitulo Terra e Revisor de outros capítulos), Conta Ambiental de Agricultura para o Sistema de Contabilidade Ambiental y Económica (SCAE) da Guatemala, e outras publicações em meios internacionais relacionados a diagnóstico e avaliação de resistência de plantas a doenças. Engenheiro Agrônomo estadunidense-guatemalteco especializado em ciências agrícolas e manejo sustentável dos recursos naturais. Formado como Engenheiro Agrônomo de EARTH University (Costa Rica) e mestrado em Produção Vegetal com ênfase em Proteção Vegetal da Universidade Federal do Piauí (Brazil). Foi bolsista em EARTH University por Cummins Inc. e para o mestrado na UFPI pela OEA.

American and Guatemalan citizen agronomist specializing in agricultural sciences and sustainable management of natural resources. Graduated as an Agricultural Engineer from EARTH University (Costa Rica) and Master in Plant Production with an emphasis on Plant Protection from the Federal University of Piauí (Brazil). He received a scholarship at EARTH University from Cummins Inc. and a master's degree at UFPI from the OAS.
