Lorenzo Bordonaro

Lorenzo Bordonaro (Graduação e Mestrado em Filosofia, Universidade de Turim, Itália, 1997; Dout. Antropologia, ISCTE, Portugal, 2007) estudou artes visuais no ArCo (Lisboa) e no MArt, com Paulo Brighenti e André Almeida e Sousa. Tem trabalhado em vários projetos de pesquisa na Guiné Bissau em Cabo Verde, Portugal e Brasil, focando as questões infantis e juvenis, da criatividade e da marginalidade urbana. Ensinou antropologia a nível de graduação e pós graduação em Portugal, Cabo Verde e Brasil. Como antropólogo e artista está atualmente explorando as intersecções entre arte pública, etnografia e intervenção urbana. Tem realizado e coordenado intervenções artísticas na área da Grande Lisboa, em Cabo Verde e no Brasil. Atualmente é pesquisador pós-doutorado na Universidade Federal de Sergipe (Brasil), onde desenvolveu em 2015 um projeto de pesquisa e intervenção artística na ocupação Nova Liberdade em Aracaju (SE), Brasil. É membro fundador e presidente do EBANOCollective (Ethnography-Based Art Nomad Organization www.ebanocollective.org).

Lorenzo Bordonaro (MA Philosophy, 1997; PhD Anthropology 2007) studied visual art at ArCO (Lisbon) and MArt with Paulo Brighenti and Adré Almeida e Sousa. He has conducted research in Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Portugal and Brazil on childhood, creativity and urban marginality. He lectured anthropology at grad and post-grad levels in Portugal, Cape Verde and Brazil. As an anthropologist and an artist he is presently exploring the intersections between public art, ethnography and urban intervention. He carried out and coordinated several artistic interventions in Cape Verde and in the Greater Lisbon Area. He is presently postdoctoral researcher at Sergipe State University (Brazil) and he is working on an art intervention project in the Nova Liberdade slum in Aracaju (SE), Brazil. He is founding member and president of the EBANOCollective (Ethnography-Based Art Nomad Organization) www.ebanocollective.org
