Luis Adolfo Salinas San Martin

I am an Electromechanical Engineer graduated from the Private University of Bolivia (UPB). I have made a Master in International Business at Florida International University (FIU) in the US and a Master on Electrical Engineering with Business at the University of Strathclyde in the UK. I also made a Lattu Sensu course related to Economy of the Electricity Sector at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in Brazil. I have worked as a Power System analyst in several Generation and Distribution companies. I have been also a Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde and at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). At the moment I am an independent consultant working for the Electricity Regulation Company (AE) and the Viceministry of Electricity in Bolivia and I am a part time lecturer at the Private University of Bolivia (UPB). My main interests are power systems planning, operation and control, renewable energies, regulation and economics in the energy sector.
