Caroline Morato Martins

Doutora em História pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2023). Mestra (2018), licenciada e bacharela (2014/2015) em História pela mesma Universidade. Possui experiência na área de História Antiga, com interesse em temas relacionados ao Império Romano e Mediterrâneo Antigo. Atua, principalmente, na pesquisa dos temas: literatura latina, exemplaridade, memória, gênero e representação feminina no mundo romano. Integra o Laboratório de Estudos sobre o Império Romano (LEIR-UFOP). Foi bolsista CAPES-PDSE na University of Exeter, Reino Unido (2021-2022).

I'm a PhD in History by Federal University of Ouro Preto (2023). Master (2018), teaching degree and bachelor (2014/2015) in History by the same University. I have experience in Ancient History, with interest in topics related to the Roman Empire and Ancient Mediterranean. I'm work mainly in researching the themes: latin literature, exemplarity, memory, gender and female representation in the Roman world. Member of the Laboratory of Studies on the Roman Empire (LEIR-UFOP). I was fellowship by CAPES-PDSE at University of Exeter (2021-2022).
