Christian Andre Marie Azais
Christian Azaïs is a full Professor of Sociology at the Cnam (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers) and codirector the lab. LISE/CNAM (UMR 3320). He has been working for more than 30 years on Labour Transformations and has developed a collective reflection on the Grey Zone notion. From 1982 to 1994 he was a teacher in Political Science at the Federal University of Paraíba, in João Pessoa. He developed several research programmes with his colleague Jacob C. Lima. He has been co-coordinating 2 ANR Programmes (Metraljeux and Zogris) and 2 Capes/Cofecub programmes with UPJV and with NAEA (Núcleo de Altos Estudos Amazônicos, Universidade Federal do Pará). More recently, he was a member of LMI SAGEMM and, in 2019, he received a grant from the French Chairs Programme in the State of São Paulo and worked with Cibele Saliba Rizek and Tomás Moreira. Both were received in missions at LISE. They have submitted the REGREYZ&Co project to ANR/FAPESP and are waiting for the result (expected July or September 2021).
graduation at from Universite D'Aix-Marseille Ii (1972), master's at from Université Paul Cézanne Aix Marseille III (1980) and doctorate from Université Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne (1984). Has experience in Political Science, focusing on State and Government, acting on the following subjects: employment, labour and globalisation.
