Marcelo Rodrigues dos Anjos

He holds a degree in Biological Sciences (2002), a master's degree in Regional Development and Environment (2009) from the FUNDAÇÃO UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE RONDÔNIA and a PhD in Environmental Physics (2017), from the UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO MATO GROSSO. FEDERAL DO AMAZONAS at the Institute of Education, Agriculture and Environment, Campus Vale do Rio Madeira in Humaitá/AM. He coordinates and is responsible for the curatorship of the ichthyological collection of the Laboratory of Ichthyology and Fishing Management of the Vale do Rio Madeira - LIOP, and of the Regional Nucleus of the Biodiversity Research Program (PPBio) in Humaitá-AM and is a collaborating researcher at the International Union for Conservation of Nature - IUCN and World Commission on Protected Areas - WCPA, also from the project, Synthesis of Ecological Responses to the Degradation of Amazonian Environments and the Center for Synthesis of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services. It is part of the technical-scientific bank of the National Collaborative Network for the Sustainable Management of Fisheries Resources - Rede Pesca Brasil. He is a scientific environmental and wildlife photographer. They have experience in research projects in the areas of ecology with an emphasis on community ecology, working mainly on the following topics: conservation, ecology, zoology, conservation units and protected areas, territorial and environmental management, planning and management of natural resources.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas (2002), mestrado em Desenvolvimento Regional e Meio Ambiente (2009) pela FUNDAÇÃO UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE RONDÔNIA e doutorado em Física Ambiental (2017), pela UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO MATO GROSSO, é docente e pesquisador Associado, da UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO AMAZONAS no Instituto de Educação, Agricultura e Ambiente, Campus Vale do Rio Madeira em Humaitá/AM. Coordena e é responsável pela curadoria da coleção ictiológica do Laboratório de Ictiologia e Ordenamento Pesqueiro do Vale do Rio Madeira - LIOP, e do Núcleo Regional do Programa de Pesquisa em Biodiversidade (PPBio) em Humaitá-AM é Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI - PADI), pesquisador colaborador da International Union for Conservation of Nature - IUCN e World Commission on Protected Areas - WCPA, também dos projetos, Síntese das Respostas Ecológicas à Degradação de Ambientes Amazônicos e do Centro de Síntese de Biodiversidade e Serviços Ecossistêmicos e AmazonFish. Faz parte do banco técnico-científico da Rede Nacional Colaborativa para a Gestão Sustentável dos Recursos Pesqueiros - Rede Pesca Brasil. É fotógrafo científico ambiental e da vida silvestre. Têm experiência em projetos de pesquisa nas áreas de ecologia com ênfase em ecologia de comunidades, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: conservação, ecologia, zoologia, unidades de conservação e áreas protegidas, gestão territorial e ambiental, ordenamento e manejo de recursos naturais.
