Fernanda de Lourdes Souza

Fernanda L. Souza is professor in IQSC/USP - Graduated in Chemical at the Educational Center of Caratinga (UNEC-MG, Brazil) in 2006. Master degree in Agrochemistry in the area of Chemical Analytical at Federal University of Viçosa (UFV-Brazil) in 2008. Ph. D. at Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSC-USP, Brazil), in Physico- Chemistry and Ph. D in Chemical Engineer by Engineer Department at University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM-Spain) in 2013. She worked as postdoctoral research at IQSC-USP in the area of environmental electrochemical technologies for wastewater treatment with a schorlaship from the São Paulo Research Foundation. During the year of 2016, she was volunteer professor of University of São Carlos. At 2014 she was postdoctoral research at Chemical Engineer Department at UCLM in the area of green electrochemical technologies for water and soil treatments. She worked as Visiting Professor for two years (2017-2018) at University Federal of ABC. In 2019 she worked as postdoctoral researcher at UCLM-Spain. She was postdoctoral research at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa 2020. Also, she was postdoctoral research at UFRN with a scholarship from FINEP-ANP- 2021-2022. Author and co-author of 43 scientific publications in international scientific periodicals with peer review (h index 19 and 881 citations).

Has experience in Chemical Engineering, focusing on Chemical Engineering, acting on the following subjects: desreguladores endócrinos, eletro-oxidação anódica, ânodo dimensionalmente estável, ftalatos, degradação eletroquíca, reatores and eletroquimica.
