Doctor and Master in Information Science by the Graduate Program of the Federal University of Bahia (PPGCI/UFBA). MBA in Information Management. Degree in Librarianship and Documentation - ICI/UFBA. Member of the research group Diffusion of information and appropriation of knowledge (DIFUSAS/UFBA), of the Laboratory of Information Technologies and Socio-digital Inclusion - LTI and of the Research and Studies Group on Bibliographic and Documentary Heritage. President of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus of Librarianship and Documentation. Teacher representation of ICI/UFBA. Titular member of the Collegiate of Librarianship and vice-coordinator of the Collegiate of Archivology. Professor of the distance learning Librarianship course. Teaches disciplines in the area of ​​Representation and organization of information and Knowledge, Cultural Action and Digital Humanities. He is interested in themes involving sociocultural and environmental studies and their relationships with regional, ancestral and decolonial culture, art and knowledge.

Presidente no Núcleo Docente estruturante de Biblioteoconomia e Documentaçao. Representação docente do ICI/UFBA. Membro titular do colegiado de Biblioteconomia e vice-coordenadora do colegiado de Arquivologia. Docente do curso de Biblioteconomia a distância. Ministra disciplinas na área de Representação e organização da informação e do Conhecimento, Ação Cultural e Tecnologia aplicada a gestão de acervos. Interessa-se pelas temáticas que envolvem os estudos sócioculturais, ambientais e suas relacões com a cultura, arte, humanidades digitais, saberes regionais e ancestrais.
