André Caruso

Bacharel em História pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e Mestre em História Social pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em História Social/UFRJ. Atualmente, sou doutorando em História Social pelo PPGHIS/UFRJ e em Línguas e Literaturas Românicas pela Université de Lille, França, sob o regime de cotutela. Faço parte do Laboratório de Pesquisa em História das Práticas Letradas (PEHL-UFRJ) e do Centre d'Etudes des Langues, Littérature et Civilisations Etrangères (CECILLE-ULille). Fiz um estágio de pesquisa no Centre de la Méditerranée Moderne et Contemporaine, na Université Côte d'Azur, em 2019, como bolsista Erasmus+. Pesquiso a composição de relatos sobre as reduções jesuítas na América do Sul, com especial atenção para os usos de lugares comuns tradicionalmente associados à utopia.

PhD student in Social History at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and in Languages, Literatures and Foreign Civilizations at the Université de Lille (France), on a joint PhD. I am attached to both the Laboratory for Studies in the History of Literate Practices (PEHL-UFRJ) and the Center for Studies in Languages, Literature and Foreign Civilizations (CECILLE-ULille). Erasmus + fellow at Université Côte d?Azur and currently MOBLILEX fellow at Université de Lille. Presently I research the composition of the Jesuit missions'relations about the Province of Paraguay, especially the use of topics related to Utopia.
