Hélio da Costa Dantas

MA in History at Federal University of Amazonas (2011). Graduated in History at Federal University of Rondônia (2004). Holds the position of historian in the Amazonas Secretary of Culture, which is currently developing the organization of the documentary collection of the Teatro Amazonas. It is also Assistant Professor at University Nilton Lins. As a researcher, coordinates the project "Colégio Amazonense D. Pedro II: Memory, Heritage and Historical Sources", funded by FAPEAM in order to organize the document collection of Colégio Amazonense D. Pedro II. Author of the book "Arthur Cezar Ferreira Reis: Trajetória Intelectual e Escrita da História". Interested in the following subjects: History of Historiography, Theory of History, Intellectual History and Amazon history. It is connected to the Research Group "Amazon: history, iconography and material culture" in the research line on "Memory, history and everyday life."

Mestre em História pela Universidade Federal do Amazonas (2011). Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal de Rondônia (2004). Professor na rede pública municipal há 18 anos e historiador na Secretaria de Estado de Cultura do Amazonas há 10 anos. É autor do livro "Arthur Cézar Ferreira Reis: Trajetória Intelectual e Escrita da História" (Paco Editorial, 2014). Tem interesse nos seguintes temas: Historiografia Amazônica, História dos Intelectuais e História da Educação no Amazonas. É ligado ao Grupo de Pesquisa "Amazônia: história, iconografia e cultura material", na Linha de Pesquisa "Memória, história e cotidiano". Atualmente, cursando Doutorado em História no Programa de Pós-Graduação em História da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (PPGH/UFAM).
