Daniel Lima Marques de Aguiar

Master in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry (2011, UFRJ) and Doctor in Chemistry of Natural Products from the Institute of Natural Products Research (2016, UFRJ). During his stricto sensu training period he investigated the formation and characterization of the polymorphism of molecular solids, by various techniques (TG. DSC, XRPD, FTIR,), but mainly through NMR crystallography (13CPMAS-GIPAW). He is currently an effective professor at the School of Fine Arts at UFRJ (EBA / UFRJ), where he teaches subjects for the Conservation and Restoration course, more specifically at the interface of Chemistry and Art. At EBA / UFRJ he coordinates the Laboratory of Studies in Conservation Sciences (LECiC-EBA / UFRJ), where he guides undergraduate students in scientific / technological initiation projects (IC / IT) and course completion works (TCC) . More recently (2022) he serves as Adjunct Director of Undergraduate Studies at the School of Fine Arts, where he coordinates the work of 13 undergraduate courses.

Mestre em Química pelo Instituto de Química (2011, UFRJ) e Doutor em Química de Produtos Naturais pelo Instituto de Pesquisa de Produtos Naturais (2016, UFRJ). Durante o seu período de formação stricto senso investigou a formação e a caracterização do polimorfismo de sólidos moleculares, por diversas técnicas (TG. DSC, XRPD, FTIR,), mas sobretudo através da cristalografia por RMN (13CPMAS-GIPAW). Atualmente é professor efetivo da Escola de Belas Artes da UFRJ (EBA/UFRJ), onde leciona disciplinas para o curso de Conservação e Restauração, mais especificamente na interface da Química e da Arte. Na EBA/UFRJ coordena o Laboratório de Estudos em Ciências da Conservação (LECiC-EBA/UFRJ), onde orienta estudante de graduação em projetos de iniciação científica/tecnológica (IC/IT) e em trabalhos de conclusão de curso (TCC). Mais recentemente (2022) atua como Diretor Adjunto de Graduação da Escola de Belas Artes, onde coordena o trabalho de 13 cursos de graduação.
