Maria de Fátima Leite Gomes

Doutora em Serviço Social pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE (2011), Mestre em Serviço Social pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba - UFPB (1997), Especialista em Metodologia das Ciências pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba - UEPB (1991) e Bacharel em Serviço Social pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba - UFPB (1987). É Professora Associada da Universidade Federal da Paraíba atuando na Graduação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social (PPGSS-UFPB). Compõe a linha de pesquisa Serviço Social, Trabalho e Política Social. É vice-líder do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Educação Popular, Serviço Social e Movimentos Sociais (GEPEDUPSS), vinculado ao Departamento de Serviço Social e aos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPGE) e Serviço Social (PPGSS), da UFPB. Desde 2018 é Tutora do Núcleo de Serviço Social no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde Mental (RESMEN), vinculado ao Núcleo de Estudos em Saúde Coletiva (NESC), do Centro de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal da Paraíba. É membro, desde 2020, da comissão examinadora de avaliação socioeconômica da seleção para o Auxílio Financeiro MEC/PROMISAES (Projeto Milton Santos de Acesso ao Ensino Superior), vinculado à Agência UFPB de Cooperação Internacional (ACI/UFPB). Desenvolve estudos e pesquisas na área de Serviço Social, Política de Assistência Social, Política de Saúde, Política de Educação e Política Pública de Planejamento e Gestão Social. Orienta e coordena projetos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, vinculados à UFPB e ao CNPQ. Foi chefe do Departamento de Serviço Social da UFPB de 2002-2007, Vice-Presidente Regional da Associação Brasileira de Ensino e Pesquisa em Serviço Social (ABEPSS), no biênio 2003-2004 e Vice-Chefe do Departamento de Serviço Social da UFPB, de 2016-2020. Foi Conselheira do Conselho Municipal de Assistência Social (CMAS) de João Pessoa-PB, entre 2013-2014 e membro da Associação Latinoamericana de Sociologia, no período correspondente a 2013-2015. Foi Coordenadora Pedagógica Estadual do Programa Nacional de Capacitação do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (CapacitaSUAS-PB) em 2018 e 2019. Participou enquanto membro da Comissão do Processo Seletivo para os CREAS-PB, junto à Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Humano do Estado da Paraíba (SEDH-PB) em 2019. Foi parecerista da Revista Tempus Actas Saúde Coletiva, do Núcleo de Estudos em Saúde Pública, da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) em 2023.

PhD in Social Work from the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE (2011), Master in Social Work from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB (1997), Specialist in Methodology of Sciences from the State University of Paraíba - UEPB (1991) and Bachelor of Social Work from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB (1987). She is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba working in the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Social Work (PPGSS-UFPB). It is part of the research line Social Work, Work and Social Policy. He is deputy leader of the Group for Studies and Research in Popular Education, Social Work and Social Movements (GEPEDUPSS), linked to the Department of Social Work and the Graduate Programs in Education (PPGE) and Social Work (PPGSS), at UFPB . Since 2018, she has been a Tutor of the Social Service Center in the Postgraduate Program in Multiprofessional Residency in Mental Health (RESMEN), linked to the Center for Studies in Collective Health (NESC), of the Health Sciences Center of the Federal University of Paraíba. Since 2020, she has been a member of the examining committee for the socioeconomic evaluation of the selection for Financial Aid MEC / PROMISAES (Project Milton Santos for Access to Higher Education), linked to the UFPB Agency for International Cooperation (ACI / UFPB). It develops studies and research in the area of Social Work, Social Assistance Policy, Health Policy, Education Policy and Public Policy for Planning and Social Management. She guides and coordinates teaching, research and extension projects linked to UFPB and CNPQ. He was head of the Department of Social Work at UFPB from 2002-2007, Regional Vice-President of the Brazilian Association for Teaching and Research in Social Work (ABEPSS), in the biennium 2003-2004 and Deputy Head of the Department of Social Work at UFPB, from 2016-2020. She was Counselor of the Municipal Council of Social Assistance (CMAS) of João Pessoa-PB, between 2013-2014 and member of the Latin American Association of Sociology, in the period corresponding to 2013-2015. She was State Pedagogical Coordinator of the National Training Program for the Unified Social Assistance System (CapacitaSUAS-PB) in 2018 and 2019. SEDH-PB) in 2019.
