Doutoranda em Demografia no Centro de Desenvolvimento e Planejamento Regional (Cedeplar|UFMG). Especialista em Análise Ambiental e Gestão do Território na Escola Nacional de Ciências Estatísticas (ENCE/IBGE). Mestre em Saneamento, Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Saneamento, Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos (PPG-SMARH) do Departamento de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (DESA) da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Engenheira Civil pela UFMG. Técnica em Edificações pelo Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). Participou de pesquisas relacionadas ao saneamento, na área de Políticas Públicas e Gestão em Saneamento no DESA. Integrou a equipe de pesquisadores do Programa Nacional de Saneamento Rural (PNSR). Atuou como consultora na Fundação Nacional de Saúde (FUNASA) contratada pela Organização Pan-Americana de Saúde (OPAS), trabalhando com indicadores sociais e métodos de apoio a gestão.

PhD student in demography at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), at the Center for Urban and Regional Planning (Cedeplar). I have a degree in civil engineering, and a master's degree in Sanitation, Environment and Water Resources from UFMG. I worked as a consultant, hired by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in the Coordination of Sanitation in Rural Areas and Traditional Communities (COSAR), at the National Health Foundation (FUNASA). Where I worked on structuring a database, with social, demographic, health and health indicators, as well as on various activities, focusing on supporting the implementation and management of programs and public policies. I did a graduate course in Environmental Analysis and Territory Management at the National School of Statistical Sciences from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (ENCE/IBGE), whose monograph project aimed to understand the limitations and challenges of official delimitation of urban and rural territories in Brazil, more specifically in the metropolization process, and the relationship of this process with the planning and implementation of public policies.
