Marcia Sueli Castelo Branco Bastos

Doctoral student and Master in Management of Natural Resources and Local Development of the Amazon (PPGEDAM) at the Environmental Center of the Federal University of Pará. and Specialist in Environmental Education (Profima II - /NUMA/UFPA); I am in the Research and Extension Group of the Laboratory of Ethnopharmacy: Documentation and Investigation of Medicinal Plants and Phytotherapy - LAEF/NUMA/UFPA, where I carry out research and extension projects on the Atlantic Amazon Region in the State of Pará. This work has resulted in publications between articles and book chapters and presentation of scientific works. Tourismologist, Full Degree in Portuguese and English from the Federal University of Pará (2007) and Full Degree in Pedagogical Training from the State University of Pará (1998); As a professor, I held the position of Professional Adjunct Professor III at the Pan-Amazonian Faculty (FAPAM), Assistant Professor II at the Faculty of Belém and Full Time Professor at Escola Bosque Fundação (FUNBOSQUE). I also taught Extension and Improvement Courses in the areas of Environment and Tourism for Education and Training institutions (1997-2019). Currently, I am a Public Employee of the State of Pará as a Planning and Management Technician in Tourism, a position I have held since 2006 at the Official Tourism Agency, Tourism Company and later Secretary of State for Tourism (PARATUR and SETUR), where I assumed the role of Coordinator the Sustainable Tourism Development Program - Prodetur/PA, with fundraising from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Ministry of Tourism (MTur) 2008-2013; As well as in the Official Environment Agency, State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability (SEMAS) in the corporate project team (2017-2020).

Doutoranda e Mestre em Gestão de Recursos Naturais e Desenvolvimento Local da Amazônia (PPGEDAM/NUMA/UFPA) e Especialista em Formação Interdisciplinar em Meio Ambiente (Profima II - Educação Ambiental/NUMA/UFPA); Integra o Grupo de Pesquisa e Extensão do Laboratório de Etnofarmácia: Documentação e Investigação de Plantas Medicinais e Fitoterápicos - LAEF/NUMA/UFPA, onde realiza projetos de pesquisa e extensão na Amazônia Atlântica paraense, que tem resultado em publicação e apresentação de trabalhos científicos, entre artigos e capítulo de livro. Turismóloga, Licenciado Pleno em Português e Inglês pela UFPA (2007) e Licenciado Pleno em Formação Pedagógica pela UEPA (1998); Como docente exerceu o cargo de Professora Adjunto Profissional III na Faculdade Pan Amazônica (FAPAM), Professor Assistente II na Faculdade de Belém, Professor Tempo Integral na Fundação Escola Bosque (FUNBOSQUE) e em Cursos de Extensão e Aperfeiçoamento nas áreas de Meio Ambiente e Turismo do SEBRAE, SENAC, FETRAMA entre outras instituições de Ensino e Treinamento (1997-2019). Atualmente é Empregada Pública do estado do Pará como Técnica de Planejamento e Gestão em Turismo, cargo que exerce desde 2006 na Companhia Paraense de Turismo (PARATUR), onde assumiu a função de Coordenadora do Programa de Desenvolvimento do Turismo Sustentável - Prodetur/PA, com captação de recursos do Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID) e Ministério do Turismo (MTur) 2008-2013; na Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (SEMAS) 2017-2020 e na Secretaria de Estado de Turismo (SETUR).
