Daniel Yasumasa Takahashi

What does originate an animal?s behavior? How is animal behavior generated? I am trying to answer these questions using evolutionary, developmental, physiological, and dynamical systems tools and ideas. My second interest is to develop statistical tools for the inference of interaction between time series. I am trying to understand what are limitations of those methods. I am also developing mathematical theories to understand phase transitions in stochastic processes with long-memory.
