Claudia Rita Corso

Graduated in Pharmacy at Pontificial Catholic University of Paraná (2011), Master's (2015) and PhD (2019) in Pharmacology at Federal University of Paraná. During her master's degree she worked with inflammation, nociception and neuropathic pain in vivo, and during her PhD she worked with pre-clinical research (in vitro and in vivo) of oncology and hepatotoxicity. During her PhD she did a research period at the Institute of Intestinal and Liver Diseases (Tytgat Institute) in Amsterdam (Netherlands). She did a post-doc in Biotechnology applied to Child and Adolescent Health at the Pelé Pequeno Príncipe Research Institute (IPPPP) in the research line of therapeutic targets with a focus on oncology, where she was on maternity leave between July and November 2020. She has experience in in vivo experimental models of pain, inflammation, cancer, liver and gastro, experience with cell culture and biochemical and molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Histology. She is the founder and technical director of Bioredox company, a startup that offers solutions in redox parameter analysis applied to human medicine and veterinary medicine.

Possui graduação em Farmácia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (2011), Mestrado (2015) e Doutorado (2019) em Farmacologia pela Universidade Federal do Paraná. Durante o mestrado atuou na linha de pesquisa inflamação, nocicepção e dor neuropática in vivo, e durante o doutorado atuou com pesquisa pré clínica (in vitro e in vivo) de neoplasias e hepatotoxicidade. Realizou doutorado sanduíche no Instituto de doenças intestinais e hepáticas (Tytgat Institute) em Amsterdam (Holanda). Fez pós doutorado em Biotecnologia aplicada à Saúde da Criança e do Adolescente no Instituto de Pesquisa Pelé Pequeno Príncipe (IPPPP) na linha de pesquisa de alvos terapêuticos com enfoque em oncologia, onde esteve de licença maternidade entre Julho e Novembro de 2020. Tem experiência em modelos experimentais in vivo de dor, inflamação, câncer, fígado e gastro, experiência com cultivo celular e técnicas bioquímicas e de biologia molecular como PCR, Western Blot, Imunohistoquímica e Histologia. É fundadora e diretora técnica da empresa Bioredox, uma startup que oferece soluções em análises de parâmetros redox aplicadas à medicina humana e medicina veterinária.
