Graduated in the School of Design Industrial Design of UEMG (1999) and Master in Engineering Materials by REDEMAT / UFOP (2005). It is the teacher responsible for the discipline Materials and Production Process of UEMG and is preparing for a doctorate continuing to search started in the Masters. It is with the School of Design of UEMG since 2002 as Professor of Product Design Course in the disciplines: Cases and Materials Production IV and V, Practice projetual I and II, Project Graduation. Coordinator and Research Laboratory of the Rapid Prototyping Centre for Studies in Design of Gems and Jewelry. Professor Consultant of the Center for Integration Design Company - CentroIDE. Professor of Post-Graduate Courses Design of Gems and Jewelry in the disciplines Tests Projetuais, Applied Materials and Guidance of Monograph and the Post-Graduate Course in management of Design in MPE's in the disciplines of Environmental Impact of Products and its cycle Life and Orientation of Monograph. Atuante the Lines Polls: Biomateriais, Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling, Technology and Process.

PhD em Sistemas de Produção & Design Industrial Pelo Politecno di Torino (Dottorato di Ricerca in Sitemi di Produzione & Design Industriale); Reconhecimento de Título Nacional de Doutor em Design pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Mestre em Engenharia de Materiais pela Rede Temática de Materiais - REDEMAT; Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto - UFOP. Graduado em Design Industrial pela Escola de Design da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais - UEMG. Docente na área do Design desde 2001 atuando na Graduação e Pós-Graduação. Profissionalmente se envolve, há mais de vinte anos, com os setores de desenvolvimento de produtos com expressiva participação e contribuição no âmbito do design, em empresas e indústrias do país.
