Clarice Schneider Lamb

Clarice has a Master's Degree MA TESOL (Teaching English for Students of Other Languages) - Monterey Institute of International Studies, USA (1995) and a Doctorate degree in Applied Linguistics with the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, PUCRS (2003). She has experience in Linguistics, working mainly in Pragmatics and Teaching Methodology. Clarice was a manager in Brazil for Heinle & Heinle Publishers, Pedagogical coordinator at Yázigi and Cultura Inglesa, associate Pedagogical Director at ATLAS English Learning Center, worked for 5 years at Petrobras as Executive Coordinator of Research Projects, Development and Innovation at CENPES. Since her return to Porto Alegre, she has worked at PUCRS, as Community Manager for Projects and Negotiation at TECNOPUC and as a Professor at the School of Humanities. In 2020, Clarice initiated work at the municipality of Porto Alegre (PMPA /SMDE) as Special Assistant and also as a professor of English in the Moinhos de Vento College. Consultant for the Municipal Secretary of Education in the City Hall of Porto Alegre, RS, coordinating the Educating Cities Project. Advisor/Product Managerwith Startup Guide in Brazil.

Possui mestrado MA TESOL (Teaching English for Students of Other Languages) - Monterey Institute of International Studies, EUA (1995) e doutorado em Lingüística Aplicada pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2003). Tem experiência na área de Lingüística, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Pragmática, Metodologia de Ensino e Análise do Discurso. Foi gerente da Heinle & Heinle Publishers no Brasil, foi coordenadora pedagógica no Yazigi e Cultura Inglesa; Diretora pedagógica-sócia da ATLAS English Learning Center, trabalhou na Petrobras (RJ) como Coordenadora Executiva de Projetos de Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação por 5 anos. Desde seu retorno à Porto Alegre, trabalhou na PUCRS atuando na Coordenadoria de Projetos e Negociação do TECNOPUC e como professora da Escola de Humanidades até 2019. Em 2020 iniciou na Prefeitura de Porto Alegre ( PMPA - SMDE) como assessora especial e assumiu o cargo de professora de língua inglesa na Faculdade Moinhos de Vento. Consultora da Secretaria Municipal de Educação na Prefeitura de Porto Alegre,RS, coordenando o Projeto Cidades Educadoras. Assessora/Gerente de Produtos na empresa Startup Guide no Brasil.
