Luís Gustavo Ferraz Rodrigues

Roteirista e diretor, com mestrado em roteiro para cinema e televisão pela University of Southern California e graduação em cinema pela PUC do Rio de Janeiro. Começou como colaborador do documentarista Luís Nachbin nas séries "Passagem para?" e "Entre Fronteiras", e dirigiu as primeiras temporadas dos vídeos sobre artistas participantes do PIPA, um dos principais prêmios de artes visuais do Brasil. Em 2015, produziu, escreveu e dirigiu o documentário "O Último Pistolino", apoiado pelo programa Rumos Itaú Cultural. Depois da especialização em roteiro nos Estados Unidos, feita com a bolsa CAPES/Fulbright destinada à área, voltou ao Brasil e foi um dos diretores e roteiristas da série "O Fenômeno MMA". Seu trabalho já foi exibido em diversas plataformas, como Globo, Canal Brasil, SporTV, Combate, Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro e Festa Literária Internacional de Paraty. Em 2018, criou a produtora Outros Olhos Filmes, cujos primeiros projetos são parcerias com o Instituto República e a Associação Brasileira de Jornalismo Investigativo.

Writer/director, with an MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from University of Southern California and a BA in Film from PUC, Rio de Janeiro. Started as a collaborator of documentary filmmaker Luís Nachbin in the "A Ticket to?" and "Between Borders" TV series, and directed the first seasons of the videos on the participating artists of PIPA, one of the major visual arts prizes in Brazil. In 2015, wrote, directed and produced the documentary film "The Adventures of Pistolino", chosen by the Rumos Itaú Cultural art fund. After specializing in screenwriting in the United Stated, with a CAPES/Fulbright scholarship, returned to Brazil and was one of the writers and directors of the TV series "The MMA Phenomenon". His work has been in different platforms, such as the TV channels Globo, Canal Brasil, SporTV and Combate, plus the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro and the Paraty International Literary Festival. In 2018, created Outros Olhos Filmes, a production house whose first projects are partnerships with Instituto República and the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism.
