Education: Graduated in Nursing from the Anna Nery EEAN School of Nursing / Federal University of Rio de Janeiro / UFRJ-BR (1988); specialization in Geriatrics and Gerontology by the United Nations / UN at its International Institute on Aging / INIA & Royal University of Malta / RUM - Malta (1992); master's degree in Nursing and Social Demands from EEAN / UFRJ-BR (1995); full doctorate with PhD in Gerontological Nursing and Minor in Education by the Department of Physiological Nursing at the University of California San Francisco / UCSF-USA (2003); and post-doctorate in Projects and Research in Drugs by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission / CICAD of the Organization of American States / OAS-USA & Center for Addiction and Mental Health / CAMH of the University of Toronto / UT-Canada (2008). Member of the Working Group (WG): which prepared a document with the UFRJ Student Mental Health Policy, Research and Information Subgroup. Currently: she is a nurse at the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing / DEMC developing teaching, research and extension activities in the undergraduate nursing course at the Anna Nery Nursing School / EEAN-UFRJ. Professor of the Permanent Staff of the Professional Master's Degree in Psychosocial Care / MEPPSO of the Institute of Psychiatry / IPUB-UFRJ, co-teacher of the subject Evaluation of Health Services; teaches disciplines of Advanced Practices in Psychosocial Care 1 and 2; and responsible for the subject Production, Organization and Socialization of Professional-Academic Knowledge in Psychosocial Care / POSCAAP. It coordinates: (i) The Research-Extension Laboratory Motivation for Self-Care in the Aging Process - MACPE / Project for the Valorization of Aging ? PROVE an EEAN-IPUB / UFRJ integration and (ii) The Technical Chamber Health of the Elderly by the Regional Council of Nursing of the State of Rio de Janeiro (COREn-RJ), 2021-2023. Member of the Nursing Solidarity Project of the Federal Council of Nursing (COFEN). Docente do Corpo Permanente do Mestrado Profissional em Atenção Psicossocial / MEPPSO do Instituto de Psiquiatria / IPUB-UFRJ, co-ministra a disciplina Avaliação de Serviços de Saúde; ministra disciplinas de Praticas Avançadas em Atenção Psicossocial 1 e 2; e responsável pela disciplina Produção, Organização e Socialização de Conhecimento Profissional-Acadêmico em Atenção Psicossocial / POSCAAP. Coordena: (i) O Laboratório de Pesquisa-Extensão Motivação para o Auto Cuidado no Processo de Envelhecimento - MACPE / Projeto de Valorização do Envelhecimento ?
