Antonio Garcia Soares Junior

An enthusiastic, adaptive and fast-learning person with a broad and acute interest in cardiovascular, toxicology and molecular biology. I particularly enjoy collaborating with scientists from different disciplines to develop new skills and solve new challenges. Before and during my graduation at Paulista University I made part of 1) a laboratory team headed by Professor Anselmo Moriscot at Biomedical Science Institute (2001-2005) and 2) Hypertension Group headed by Professors PhD Maria Helena C. Carvalho and PhD Zuleica B. Fortes (2006-2013). After my graduation, I concluded my Master?s degree (2012-2014) with Professor Eliana Akamine from the Pharmacology Department of the Biomedical Science Institute. Nowadays, I am a PhD. Student and employee at the same institute, but now under supervision of Soraia Costa.

graduation at Farmácia-Bioquímica from Universidade Paulista (2010) and master's at Mestrado em Farmacologia from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas / Universidade de São Paulo (2014). He is currently técnico de laboratório at Universidade de São Paulo. Has experience in Physiology, focusing on Cardiovascular Physiology, acting on the following subjects: músculo esquelético, hormonio tiroideano, analogo gc-24, expressão gênica and alongamento.
