Ariane Maria Marques da Silva

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2017) e mestrado em Geologia (sub-área Geologia Marinha e Costeira) pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2019). Iniciou o Doutorado em 2020, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geologia e Geoquímica, da Universidade Federal do Pará (PPGG/UFPA), com período sanduíche na School of Oceanography/University of Washington. Tem experiência na área de Oceanografia, com ênfase em Oceanografia Geológica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: hidrodinâmica, sedimentologia, morfologia, estuários e tidal rivers amazônicos.

She has a degree in Biology from the Federal University of Pará (2017) and a Master's degree in Geology (Marine and Coastal Geology sub-area) from the Federal University of Pará (2019). She started her PhD in 2020, at the Graduate Program in Geology and Geochemistry, at the Federal University of Pará (PPGG / UFPA). She is currently a visiting student at the School of Oceanography at the University of Washington. She has experience in Oceanography, with emphasis on Geological Oceanography, working mainly on the following topics: hydrodynamics, sedimentology, morphology, Amazonian estuaries and Amazonian tidal rivers.
