Sergio Ricardo Thomaz

PhD in Health Sciences and Technologies from the University of Brasília (UnB); Master's degree and specialization in Rehabilitation Sciences, graduation in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (1996) with specialization in Osteopathy by the Brazilian Institute of Osteopathy (2015) and graduation in Physical Education by the Santamarense Organization of Education and Culture (1990). He served as a professor at the Brasília Teaching Center at the Faculty of Physical Therapy for four years at the Sarah Rehabilitation Hospital for nine years at the Regional Hospital of Santa Maria - DF for one year and at the Base Hospital of Brasilia for one year and in Physiotherapy clinic with Osteopathy. He currently works as an assistant professor in the Physical Therapy course at UnB / Ceilância / Brasília. He has experience in the area of ​​spine rehabilitation and posture, working mainly in the following subjects: Manual Therapy, Spinal Column, Spinal Cord Injury, Hydrotherapy, Pulmonary Function and Cardiac Function.

Possui Doutorado em Ciências e Tecnologias em Saúde pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB); Mestrado e especialização em Ciências da Reabilitação, graduação em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1996) com especiialização em Osteopatia pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Osteopatia (2015) e graduação em Educação Física pela Organizacao Santamarense de Educacao e Cultura (1990). Atuou como professor titular do Centro de Ensino de Brasília na Faculdade de Fisioterapia por quatro anos, no Hospital de Reabilitação Sarah por nove anos, no Hospital Regional de Santa Maria - DF por um ano e no Hospital de Base de Brasília por um ano e em clínica de fisioterapia com Osteopatia. Atualmente trabalha como professor adjunto no curso de Fisioterapia da UnB/Ceilância/Brasília.Possui experiência na área de Reabilitação da coluna e postura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Terapia Manual, Coluna, Lesado medular, Hidroterapia, Função pulmonar e Função cardíaca.
