Cassio Polpo de Campos

Cassio holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (1998), a master degree in Computer Science from the same institute (2000), a Ph.D. in Engineering (Mechatronics) from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2005), and Habilitation from the Dept of Computer Science of the University of São Paulo (2013). Currently he is a Reader in The Queen's University of Belfast. He has experience in Artificial Intelligence, Optimization and Bioinformatics.

Graduado no Bacharelado em Ciência da Computação do Instituto de Matemática e Estatística da Universidade de São Paulo (1998), mestre em Ciência da Computação pelo mesmo instituto (2000), doutor em Engenharia Mecatrônica pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (2005) e livre docente em Ciência da Computação pelo Instituto de Matemática e Estatística da Universidade de São Paulo (2013). Atualmente é Reader na Queen's University Belfast. Atua em Inteligência Artificial, Otimização e Bioinformática.
