Jose Daniel Reis Junior

Doutor em Engenharia e Tecnologia Espaciais, área de concentração em Engenharia e Gerenciamento de Sistemas Espaciais, no Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). Mestre em Física pela Unicamp (2004). Licenciado em Física pela Unesp (2001). Técnico em Processamento de Dados pelo Colégio Técnico Industrial da UNESP (1996).Sua experiência em pesquisa e desenvolvimento contempla as áreas de Engenharia e Tecnologia Espaciais (Simuladores e Controle Térmico de Veículos Espaciais) e Física da Matéria Condensada (Vórtices em Supercondutores), com a aplicação de Simulações Computacionais, Inteligência Computacional e Machine Learning, utilizando diversas metodologias como Redes Neurais Artificiais, Dinâmica de Langevin e Monte Carlo.Trabalhou como Analista em Ciência e Tecnologia na Coordenação de Ciências Exatas (COCEX) do CNPq e no Núcleo de Inovação Tecnológica (NIT) do INPE. Atuou como Chefe do Serviço de Gestão de Contratos e Convênios (SEGCC) do INPE.Seus interesses profissionais incluem a Gestão em Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação, Divulgação Científica e também a docência de Física e disciplinas específicas de Computação, Engenharia e Matemática.

PhD in Space Engineering and Technology, specialization in Space Systems Engineering and Management, at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Has a Master degree in Physics from Unicamp (2004), degree in Physics from Unesp (2001) and technical course in Data Processing by the Industrial Technical College of UNESP (1996).Experience in scientific research and development includes the areas of Condensed Matter Physics (Vortices in Superconductors) and Space Engineering and Technology (Simulators and Thermal Control of Spacecrafts), with the application of Computer Simulations (Langevin Dynamics and Monte Carlo) and Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning (Artificial Neural Networks), respectively.Currently, works as Science and Technology Analyst at the Procurement Management Office of INPE.Professional interests include Management of Science, Technology and Innovation, Partnerships with Public and Private Institutions and the State Purchasing Power for Technological Development and Innovation.Has worked as Science and Technology Analyst in the Technology Innovation Office (NIT-INPE), acting in the management of partnerships with public and private institutions and also in the protection of intellectual property. Currently, works in INPE's Contracts Management Office, where he seeks to use the state's purchasing power to foster Technological Development and Innovation of the productive sector, in addition to contributing to the Brazilian Space Program.His professional interests include also teaching physics classes and specific subjects in Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics.
