Evelyn Nunes Goulart da Silva Pereira

Evelyn has a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (2015), a master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (2017), a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (2022), and a specialization in Applied Statistics from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2022). She is currently developing at the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory (IOC / FIOCRUZ) the study of metabolic and microcirculatory changes resulting from Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. She serves as coordinator and reviewer of international indexed journals. She is a contributor to the ELSA-BRASIL, Longitudinal Study of Adult Health, and the GEF-UFRJ, Liver Study Group. She is a member of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) She has extensive experience in Cellular, Molecular Biology, Physiology and Statistics, working mainly on the following subjects: hepatology, microcirculation, and glycation.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas com habilitação em biotecnologia pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro (2015), mestrado em Biologia Celular e Molecular pelo Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (2017), doutorado em Biologia Celular e Molecular pelo Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (2022) e especialização em Estatística Aplicada pela Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (2022). Atualmente desenvolve no Laboratório de Investigação Cardiovascular (IOC/FIOCRUZ) o estudo das alterações metabólicas e microcirculatórias decorrentes da Doença Hepática Gordurosa Não Alcoólica, trabalhando também em inúmeras colaborações. Atua como coordenadora e revisora de periódicos indexados internacionais. Participa do ELSA-BRASIL, Estudo Longitudinal de Saúde do Adulto, RFPC, Rede Fiocruz de Pesquisa Clínica e do GEF-UFRJ, Grupo de Estudos do Fígado. É membra da European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL). Possui ampla experiência em Biologia Celular, Molecular, Fisiologia e Estatística, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: hepatologia, microcirculação e glicação.
