Sumaira Yasmeen

Graduation at BS in Physics from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore (2015) and master's at Master of Science in Physics from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore (2017). Has experience in Scientific Disclosure.My research interests lies in materials science, nano-photonics, bioscience, bioengineering, nanotechnology, laser technology, nano-optics, computational physics, semiconductor devices, single molecular devices and quantum optics. I have a great potential for research in computational modelling of devices using simulations. My recent research mainly focused on synthesis and spectroscopy of bioglasses for bone-tissue engineering, their structural and optical studies. Previous studies include DFT (Density Functional Theory) and MD (Molecular Dynamics) based studies of nanowires, nanosheets, CNTs (Carbon Nanotubes), nano-transistors and glasses, respectively.
