Johnny Herbert Esteves de Queiroz

Atualmente, é membro do Dark Energy Survey e realiza seu doutorado em Brandeis University sob a orientação da prof. Soares-Santos. Possui graduação sanduíche em Física pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia(2016) e pela Université du Havre - França(2015), pelo programa Ciências sem Fronteiras CSF. Realizou estágio no Observatoire de Paris no LERMA - França, em formações estelares. Possuí mestrado em Astronomia pelo programa de pós-graduação IAG - USP (Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas). Durante seu projeto de mestrado estudou a evolução de AGNs no ambiente de Aglomerados de Galáxias através de Óptico e Raios-X.

He is currently a member of the Dark Energy Survey and holds his doctorate at Brandeis University under the guidance of Prof. Soares-Santos. Further, Mr. Esteves holds a double degree in Physics, from the Federal University of Uberlândia - Brazil (2016) and the Université du Havre - France (2015). He was awarded the competitive Science without Borders fellowship in 2015-2016 and trained at the Observatoire de Paris at LERMA - France, in star formation. He has a master's degree in Astronomy from the IAG - USP (Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences). During his masters he studied the evolution of AGNs in the galaxy cluster environment through optical and X-ray.
