Puebla Cassini Vieira

He is currently a Professor at the State University of Minas Gerais, teaching the disciplines of Histology,General Biology, Biophysics and Cell Biology. Graduated in Nursing from the Faculty of Health and Human Ecology (2011), Master in Applied Structural and Cellular Biology from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2014), PhD in Cell Biology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with an internship abroad at Harvard University and Post-doctorate in Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy at Rush University Medical Center (2019). He has experience in the fields of cell biology, histology and general pathology, with an emphasis on the study of the pathophysiology of tissue repair, inflammation and angiogenesis.

Professor efetivo na Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais e Professor Titular no curso de Medicina do Centro Universitário Governador Ozanam Coelho (UNIFAGOC). Possui graduação em Enfermagem pela FASEH, mestrado em Biologia Celular e Estrutural Aplicadas pela UFU e doutorado em Biologia Celular pela UFMG, com período sanduíche na Harvard University. Além disso, realizou estágio pós-doutoral nas áreas de Hematologia, Oncologia e Terapia Celular no Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, EUA). Possui ampla experiência em educação/divulgação científica, extensão universitária, aprendizagem baseada em projetos, biologia celular, histologia e patologia, atuando, principalmente, nos seguintes temas: educação em saúde, biologia tumoral, angiogênese e cicatrização.
